Who We Are
Bindner Academy was founded in 1997 by Derek Bindner, a martial arts enthusiast and former executive close protection specialist and doorperson, with a black belt in various disciplines, including Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Yoshinkan Aikido, Goju Ryu Karate, Goshin Ryu Ju-jitsu, Tae Kwon Do, and a silver medalist in kickboxing. Our leadership team at Bindner Academy focuses on providing first-class instruction, specializing in self-protection, functional movement, and personal development for ages 6 and up.
